Mr. Fish at the LA Times Festival of Books

The first real celebrity who I ever saw in person was Captain Noah.  I was 6-years-old at the time and he was visiting a shopping mall in Springfield, Pennsylvania, to raise money for the Jerry Lewis Telethon and the vision of him in 3-dimensions froze me and stilled my ability to speak.  Not until I was in the car and headed back to my grandparents’ house was I able to finally whisper to my twin sister, Dawn, my eyes heavy with grateful tears, “He looked just like does on TV.”  Now’s your chance to experience the same thrill by seeing me at the LA Times Festival of Books (April 30th until May 1st).  Below is a drawing that I just did to show you what I look like in 2-dimensions so that you can make the heart-pounding comparison with the 3-D me when you see me.  I’ll be at the Akashic Books booth signing and selling advance copies of my new book, Go Fish: How to Win Contempt and Influence People.  See you there.

See you tomorrow. I’m the guy with a similar haircut; mine is just a bit more disheveled.
