Here’s a clip from the 2011 Webby Awards, when Egyptian filmmakers Mohamed Diab and Amr Salama, who is also a noted blogger, got a Special Recognition award for representing the people of Egypt during the recent protests and eventual ousting of President Hosni Mubarak.  The beautiful surprise that I received when I first saw this clip was that Diab is wearing a Mr. Fish t-shirt.  Book-ending my day of personal triumph perfectly was the letter (an actual paper letter!) that I received in the mail from a fan who also found my work profoundly moving:

I like how they get the punctuation correct except for the word crasy.
