  1. What part of cognitive dissonance do you not understand?

The Big Lie technique is alive and well so sleep well…….grin

  2. Yes.

  3. Couldn’t have said it better myself. (But, Fish…you’re talent will keep you working forever.)
“I am more and more convinced that man is a dangerous creature, and that power, whether vested in many or a few, is ever grasping, and, like the grave, cries, “Give, give!” The great fish swallow up the small, and he who is most strenuous for the rights of the people, when vested with power, is as eager after the prerogatives of government.” – Abigail Adams 1775.
    NOTHING ever changes.
What’s so funny ’bout peace love and understanding.

  4. Spot on.
Please keep up the sane, tragic, and humurous reflection.

I particularly found this part of his speech appalling:

“There are no words that excuse the killing of innocents. There is no video that justifies an attack on an embassy. There is no slander that provides an excuse for people to burn a restaurant in Lebanon, or destroy a school in Tunis, or cause death and destruction in Pakistan.”

  5. Now I know why the first words out of Obama’s mouth in his inauguration address were to thank George W Bush and Vice-president Chaney for their ‘…services to the nation….’
He was going to continue their international criminal behaviour.

  6. That’s precisely what you heard, Dwayne ! And thus, editorial cartoonists of a satirical bent will never lack for material. It’s almost as good as being a lawyer and going into politics, where one gets to design laws which are so written that lawyers never lack for work in interpreting them, but where in the end, ordinary people always get the shaft and extraordinary people, aka corporations, always get to screw them….

    Henri

  7. Exactly.

  8. Oh Mr. fish….I truly love the way you see the world….
