Just to underline, the “What if?” question was again asked on NPR this morning. Sometimes, but not always, the great American public (masses, whatever, ….) chooses so poorly.
Can one imagine a man like George Stanley McGovern being nominated by one of the Tweedledum/dee parties as a presidential candidate today ? Neither can I….
