  1. Yes, black lives matter and police lives matter but above all justice matters. Only when the bad cops meet the due punishment for their murderous acts will the fear and animosity between police and people of color start to abate.

  2. This from a comment on nakedcapitalism a couple of days ago:
In order to light a candle instead of curse the darkness, I propose that we separate our police into two groups:
A – those so terrified of black people that they are not allowed to stop or approach black people
    B – the rest

    1. methinks we’d have the majority of police unable to do the job they’re paid to do… perhaps firing all those police who are terrified/hate/look-down-on blacks – and then not hiring mentally ill people as police any more is a better solution…

  3. why shouldn’t the police get away with murdering innocent people by the thousands with utter impunity? their big-brothers and role-models – the U$ government and military – have always gotten away with mass-murder of millions around Earth with utter impunity…

  4. And this, of course, in the «indispensable nation», which presumes to lecture other states on how they should behave and (if they are deemed incapable of significant resistance) invades them if they are less than properly compliant….

  5. This is exactly the point.

KKKops could change their color by removing their uniforms, if only they chose to.
