Many religious Jews are against the state of Israel. There is also a case to be made that a lot of so called Jews in Israel are not really Jews, genetically. They are Caucasian/European and that the state of Israel is in fact a European colony. Genetically speaking, the historic Jews are likely the Palestinians. Your oft repeated refrain to blame religion is a red herring, when in fact, there is enough evidence to suggest that religion or not, humans will still engage in wholesale slaughter.
