  1. Wow, Mr. Fish! Good for you! What kind of slow-witted, mouthbreathing, idiot can’t see your artistic expression has lampooned anyone and anything that makes you hold your nose in disgust? Yup, I went right to name calling because I can’t draw like you do. Damn it all! You are nothing if not a free thinker who expresses himself in the way he chooses, leaving not one injustice nor political player fairly and squarely skewered up the ass for their indecency to humankind itself.

To anybody doubting Mr. Fish or his work or ethics or fairness or balance… Here’s the deal. Art isn’t always fair. Art isn’t always balanced. Art isn’t always likeable. Art isn’t here to make a choice for you about what to believe or not believe in. Art is, in case you’re just catching up, a call to express yourself however the fuck you choose.

You don’t have to like Mr. Fish’s work, but to question his sincere and profound desire for (as he said and still my favorite quote) peace, love and understanding for everybody, even the idiots who voted against their own best interests when voting for Trump, doesn’t know his work sufficiently.

More balance in Mr. Fish’s work? Are you insane or new? Where was the fucking balance in other media sources for other candidates besides President-elect Tweetie-bird? Seriously, we are just about to enter into a Third Reconstruction because of the gilded billionaire class raping our Democracy and you’re worried about a cartoon? GET YOUR FUCKING PRIORITIES STRAIGHT.

And know this, Mr. Fish, owes you NOTHING.

You’re my hero, Fish. And I know you don’t do your work for that kind of praise either. Truth is truth, couldn’t help myself. Keep slinging it however you feel is right. Because I’ve yet to find you wrong.

What’s so funny ’bout peace, love and understanding?

  2. I have no problem with Dwayne pillorying Mr Trump, who certainly merits no less, but can’t but wonder what he would have drawn had dear Ms Clinton managed to win the US Electoral College and thereby the office of US president. Would he have found her neocon warmongering bullshit as interesting as that of Mr Trump ?…

Of course, alternative history is a difficult genre….

    1. For those who relentlessly keep suggesting that I might have had some difficulty strongly criticizing a Hillary Clinton Administration, please kindly remove your head from your ass and look at the work I’ve done. Find me proof that I’ve ever pandered to one party over the other. I target bullshit and attack what I perceive to be threats to humanitarian ideals, freedom and justice regardless of team colors or players. My attacks on Obama were equally as pointed as those leveled against George W. and Bill Clinton and George Sr. and Ronald-fucking-Reagan. I had nothing kind or hopeful to say about candidate Hillary during the campaign season. Do I think Trump is more dangerous than Clinton? Absofuckinglutely – doubtful that a Clinton Presidency would have included such specific and targeted attacks against minorities, the environment and free speech as a Trump Presidency. That said, power and it’s ability to erode and disrupt peace, love and understanding as defined by the multiplicity of a People’s Party is what I abhor most, which is why I feel it is important to lampoon the power players directly. And who is the number one power player now? It’s President-elect Donald Trump – pick up a fucking newspaper, don’t take my word for it. And then go find a cartoonist who has a bit more glee and optimism than I do, who begs his readers to just give Trump a chance before we criticize him. If you need to see our fundamental rights of dissent removed and our most insidious prejudices institutionalized by the executive branch before you have the balls to say, “Hey, wait a minute…” you’re not my audience. Go away. Your equivocation is growing tiresome.

      1. This is my favorite Hillary illustration:

It is a society of binarisms, isn’t it? Coke or Pepsi. Heads or tails. One or zero. Democrat or republican. The idea of other options seems to not be in the collective mental vocabulary.

Back to the illustration, I haven’t seen a renaissance like this since the Reagan years.

        1. Thank you, I’ve been waiting for that for some time. I only wonder why it took so long. Regardless, you’ve made my day.

        2. Apologies. That was meant for Dewayne’s cogent comment.

  3. The Gospel of Donald the Dope. Of course, there are other books in the Bible of American Exceptionalism, but we’ll leave that for another time. Although the Apocalypse does indeed seem to be upon us.

  4. Enough with Trump! I know you are more than a “one trick pony!” Balance! Please!!!!!!

    1. If you want to avoid Trump for the next four years, you’re out of luck. Buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

    2. There’s nothing balanced about Drumpf.

    3. And to say that Dwayne is a one-trick-pony is to say that you came embarrassingly late to this party. Get with the program; your ignorance is hanging out all over.
