  1. “As long as big business is a death ray beam casting the shadow of corporate sponsored politics on society, the intensification of the beam will burn the substance of natural persons.”— Uncle Screwy

    1. “Uncle Screwy”, really???

      Glenn… I’m not that bad.

      1. That was a dumb comment, sorry.

  2. Diana Johnstone made an interesting observation in her most recent and all to rare articles about what seems to be the best thing to come out of Trump’s election…

“A bit of realism helps when dealing with reality. The choice of Exxon CEO Rex W. Tillerson as Secretary of State is the best step toward ending the current race toward war with Russia. “Make money not war” is the pragmatic American slogan for peace at this stage.”

Please don’t freak out on me Linda. It is a good article.

    1. Diana Johnstone is an ardent Putin fan/propagandist and she promotes anti-Muslum immigration policies. Why would I listen to anything she has to say on this issue? I would no more waste time reading an article by her than I would watching a cable news program. Linda should have raged indeed…

  3. Depends upon what one means by «liberals». The «bomb ’em» liberals in control of the upper echelons of the Democratic Party, who never saw a US war of aggression abroad they didn’t like (at least until it turned sour, when that slam-dunk win didn’t materialise) are well-aware of their corporate masters’ efforts and exploit them to their own personal advantage. The Clintons, of course, are a case in point….

    1. Absolutely – great comment.

    2. Ok…this time, but just because you asked so nicely!

      1. Whoops that was meant in response to EmileZ
