  1. “We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors … and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.” —Karl Rove

  2. as Orwellian as Trump is – most democrats/liberals/progressives still believe WAR IS PEACE…

  3. “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.” Almost 16 years after 9/11, and look what’s happened.

  4. par·a·digm
    /ˈperəˌdīm/
    noun
A place where liberal progressives and other overeducated shitheads retire to in the advent of adversity to their identity, particularly in America. The rest of the time, they could care less.

  5. “Facts depend solely on those who have the power to create them. The goal of the Trump administration is to create an artificial consistency that conforms to its warped perception of the world. ”
    -Chris Hedges

“Clearly America’s wars on Muslims wreck far more lives than Trump’s ban on immigrants. Why the focus on an immigration ban and not on wars that produce refugees? Is it because Obama is responsible for war and Trump for the ban? Is the liberal/progressive/left projecting Obama’s monstrous crimes onto Trump? Is it that we must hate Trump and not Obama?”
    -Paul Craig Roberts

Often repeated slogans heard once again on Democracy Now’s coverage of the recent airport protests (which are notably absent of tear gas, batons and the like, yet peppered here and there with democrat congresspersons):

“This is what democracy looks like”

“This is not who we are” – we being America.

They did, to their credit, manage to prevent a few deportations.
