Types of Prints

A giclée print is a fine art digital print combining pigment-based inks with high quality archival quality paper.  The word giclée (“g-clay”) is derived from the French verb gicler meaning “to squirt or spray,” something for which both the French and Mr. Fish are famous for despite the relentless pleadings by critics, sissies and prudes for them to cut it out!

Archival rag paper is a fine art, acid-free cotton paper used by museums and archivists for the highest quality reproductions possible, guaranteed to last 300+ years.  Please feel free to contact the artist if, around the 200-year mark, the yellows begin to fade and the reds wilt purple.
