The people over at ITCH (International Team of Comics Historians) had this to say about me today. Reading it, I fell in love with myself all over again. And then, posted on the same day over at AIGA, came this most flattering tip of the toupee to my bad behavior. I’m beginning to get the creepy feeling that somebody might ask me to comb my hair soon and to get my fingers out of my nose.
first you are loved for being innovative and an original, “out of the box” thinker.
Then, after 18 months, the “establishment” tires of that and wants you to capitulate.
To successfully stay an iconoclast means having a very active middle finder.
