  1. Hard to argue with Mr. Khider’s logic.

  2. It’s a sad day when more people follow the words of Sheen, than Chomsky or Zinn.

  3. Thanks for the insight – another nail in the coffin of the country. Jeeze.

  4. Media concern with the habits of persons like Mr Sheen is invaluable in distracting attention from the state of the »national mood and mental health of most enlightened society and shiniest democracy on the planet Earth«. The farce continues….

  5. I would also like to add two non-gnarly things about Charlie Sheen.

    1) He spent a lot of money on call girls, supporting a patriarchal industry that exploits women. (though he did claim to help get Bree Olson out of the porn industry).

    2) If his coke habit is to be believed, then he is yet another one of those idiots supporting the drug cartels. A read of Charles Bowden’s “Down By The River” ought to cure anyone from buying coke.

    1. To which I might add Gary Webb’s, Dark Alliance. The story of the CIA’s role in the cocaine explosion in the US.

  6. so you don’t agree with the comment i left on the steve jobs cartoon 🙂

  7. I used to think that Charlie Sheen was a drug-addled creep, and…wait I still do–however, due to this media backlash against him, I’m taking his side. He’s a entertainer, not Mahatma Gandhi. Since when are entertainers awash in cash supposed to be held to a higher moral standard? Most of them are wasteful selfish consumers. Why should Sheen be any different? I love how he tells-off the networks and power brokers. Unfortunately, Sheen is doing this from an ego-centric perspective, but at least it is something. I look at Sheen with the same level of seriousness as I do pro-wrestling or Marilyn Manson, Sort of like Hulk Hogan before he enters the ring. It’s all fakery, but that’s entertainment.
