  1. I fear you’re missing the point, Dwayne ; whenever the US (NATO, the «world community», etc, etc) want to intervene militarily in a conflict, the party against which the intervention is desired is described in such terms as «maniac», «madman», «criminal», «dictator». Amazingly, arms have most often been sold to these figures for years, if not decades, before these mental disabilities are discovered – or at least, brought to public attention, and they have often been on the payroll of such well-known democratic organisations as the CIA. Or has the biography of Saddam Hussein already been forgotten ? Be careful what you wish for, particularly in the case of military intervention – you and more importantly, the residents of the country in which the intervention is contemplated – might just get it !…

    1. Hey Henri – not calling for military intervention with this cartoon at all. Merely expressing my frustration with how infuriating it is to watch the U.N. measure its response to slaughter and to contemplate a procedural reaction that plays politics over people. Business men have a different bottom line to consider than humanitarians and if humanitarianism had anything to do with world politics, the planet would look vastly different than it does right now.
