  1. Always remember that we’ll never forget.

    OR ELSE!

  2. 9/11. It’s the new holocaust. We must never ever forget, right? Hitler’s effect was wearing off and so Osama Bin Laden conveniently took his place. Now we can all be victims forever and look to the government to protect us. Reliving a tragedy until it becomes our sole (or perhaps soul) identity? How insane are we? To make it truly American, shouldn’t there be a 9/11 sale going on at the mall or Wal-Mart? How about the 9/11 McRib at McDonald’s. Sleep well, America. President Obama is going to keep the Boogie Man far, far away.

  3. State run media…we rewind over and over and over and over again. Because, gosh, Americans, you all need to get it through your thick heads that what America has done since 9/11 (was there even ever a time before that date anymore?) the hysterical Nationalistic flag-draping of war and incendiary killing of hundreds of thousands of innocent people in small brown countries is ABSOLUTELY justified based on this sick obsession with the “rewind.” What’s so funny ’bout peace love and understanding? Well, for one thing it just simply doesn’t sell. We are now the evil we so loathe.

  4. I’ve been watching footage all night. I’ve been thinking about the victims for days. I’ve been crying for the lives lost, for the people who lost family and friends, for the survivors.

I’ve talked to my children about it, as they were all either small babies or not yet born. It’s hard for me to help them make sense of it, as I myself can’t make sense of it.

I have several firefighters and paramedics in my family. I’ve always thought they were heroic, but I had a renewed sense of respect and awe for what they do.

  5. 11 September 1973 – wasn’t that the day that Milton Friedman took over Chile…? In terms of how far back to rewind, we’d have to at least go back to 11/22/63 (if not before), just to retrieve some semblance of the American Republic.

  6. Anybody remember 11 Spetember 1973 ?…

    Henri

    1. indeed, how far back to we rewind?

      1. Only 10 years. All other history was erased on that particular Sept. 11th because IT happened here.

  7. Its so hypocritical…comemorating the dead, but refusing to care for the firefighters.
