  1. I would have paid good money, even fealty forever, never questioning another word from any authority if I were fortunate enough to have anything resembling your articulate as usual words said to me in my formative years. Thank you for being the one to say them. And thankfully, I’m still forming.

  2. Don’t forget guilt. I was reading “Language And Politics” by Chomsky and I experienced the most joyous sense of guilt and rage just the other day. Of course I am used to reading Chomsky, so I no longer get that nausea in my head and ache in my bowels from the realization that so much of what I was told about the world is bullshit and my best instincts were right all along.

Anyhow, I try not to let myself get too joyously guilty and focus on the rage, but it doesn’t work that way.

Only by focusing on joyous guilt and rage in equal parts can one gain true enlightenment and thus be freed from the cycle of birth and death.

  3. Kudos for «joyful anti-authoritarianism», Dwayne !… 🙂

  4. Excerpt of Presidentin’ School commencement speech:

“The education of a future president starts with learning how to shout “Fire” in a crowded theater. Not everyone can deal with the emotional burden of deaths caused by a stampeding crowd. Only a well developed sense of privilege can carry you past this to new heights of indifference.

“But if you are cool and callus enough to lie without remorse, one day, with practice, you will be able to stand in front of the nation and say those words that will lead to millions of dead and historical hero status for yourself as a War President, subject of admiration by the gullible timorous masses.

“Remember this: only your own sense of humanity can present an obstacle to your rise to power. And only when you kill your inner human will death to the rest of humanity come easy.

“Now go kill ’em dead. A glorious future awaits.”
